The 108th Annual Convention was held at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort in Austin, Texas.

The 108th Annual Convention was held at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort in Austin, Texas. The program included three days of meetings, education, networking, and social activities to help build relationships and businesses. This congress was an engaging and dynamic event dedicated to the brushmaking industry. 

This convention provided a packed agenda and succeeded in fostering community, education, and celebration among all attendees, brushmakers and suppliers alike. 

On Tuesday, March 25, 2025, registration kicked off at 8:00 AM, welcoming attendees from all over the country along with internatiolally based suppliers. The morning featured open committee meetings, allowing members to engage with various initiatives relevant to the brushmaking industry. The schedule included discussions on convention planning, public relations, membership growth, and safety standards, ensuring that everyone had the opportunity to contribute to the direction of the American Brushmakers Association (ABMA). After a midday break for lunch, the convention officially kicked off with team-building activities throughout the afternoon encouraged networking and camaraderie among participants. 

As the day wound down, emerging leaders and new members had the chance to connect at a special reception from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM, followed by the Paul M. Miller Welcome Reception from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, which set a warm, welcoming tone for the days to come. 

On Wednesday, March 26, 2025, the second day started early with a sunrise yoga session, providing a rejuvenating start to the day. After breakfast, attendees gathered for the general business meeting at 8:00 AM, where important topics affecting the industry were discussed. 

Following the business meeting, the ABMA Educational Institute meeting  took place with a popular session, entitles Sustaining Business in Times of Economic Uncertainty: Insights from Gene Marks. After a break for lunch, participants enjoyed leisure activities including a golf scramble or someopted for some free time to explore Austin. 

In the evening, a cocktail reception offered a relaxed atmosphere for networking, followed by the ABMA Foundation Networking Dinner at 7:00 PM. Participants had the choice of enjoying the dinner with the foundation or experiencing the local food scene on their own. 

On Thursday, March 27, 2025, the final day of the convention began once again with sunrise yoga and breakfast, before transitioning to essential Face 2 Face meetings, allowing for personalized discussions and strategy sessions between members and partners. The convention culminated with the Suppliers’ Reception and the Closing Dinner Event, the Trail’s End Chuckwagon Dinner & Party, starting at 7:00 PM. This celebration provided an opportunity for attendees to reflect on the insights gained throughout the convention and to build lasting connections in a festive atmosphere.
